Notice anything similar about these two dates? Yes, they take place in the middle of Summer. You know Summer, that time of the year when referrals "slow down". I'm calling BS....at least for you and your agency.
These results came from the agency I worked at as VP of Sales. There was no magic to achieve this, nor any special plan. It was business as usual for us. Do you know why we succeeded at higher levels than we ever had (and at higher levels than our competitors)? Because our competition took their foot off the gas and left business for us to take from them. Market share....they simply gave away.
Why?
"It's too hot to go out today"
"All of our referral sources say they are slow"
"I'm planning for Fall"
"I'm going to sit in the air conditioning for a few more minutes"
"All of the doctors are on vacation"
Ad infinitum.....
Don't believe the hype. The business is out there, just waiting for you to take it. Your best ever numbers are sitting right in front of you. If you don't take them, some other agency is going to be celebrating their "best ever" at the end of July or August.
Make sure the celebration is in YOUR office.
By the way.....this coming Saturday July 6th marks the 13 year anniversary of Power Shot Training! I remember sitting in a hotel room in Las Vegas on that day in 2006, calling my attorney to draw up the paperwork for an LLC that I was going to call Power Shot Training. It's been quite a ride with many twists, turns, and changes but I'm thrilled to be able to serve the senior care industry for another year (and hopefully more!).
